Power 90 Day 6

Well my hope of getting things back to normal ended early today as my late night last night left me in bed until 10:00 this morning.  However I didn’t let that stop me, I got out of bed, made my protein shake and headed down to the gym.  By the time I got going this morning in the gym it was closing in on 11:00, and I quickly realized the downside of working out so much later in the day.  The un-air-conditioned, metal gym building gets hot as the day goes on, and I was sweating hard before the stretching even ended.

Much like the sculpting yesterday I had my best day of the week with Cardio today.  I only hit pause twice, did less modified moves, and burned my way through 60 Ab Ripper crunches that I am still feeling late tonight.  I am honestly excited to see how much I am able to do next week in both of the videos, as I have a goal of 5 more weeks with level 1-2.

Other then the late start, the day was pretty normal.  I took it easy through the afternoon, mostly because of the heat outside; and walked down to my in-laws for dinner, as my wife and kids were there.  This threw off my calorie count as I actually ate less then I had planned.  But I made up most of it by adding some peanut butter toast to my evening snack.  Here’s a look at my 1661 Calorie meal plan for today:

Post Workout:  Protein Drink (1 scoop protein 8 ounces skim milk)   (220 Calories)

Breakfast:  Total Raisin Bran with Milk (1 cup cereal, 1 cup skim milk) (246 Calories)

Lunch: Ham & Cheese Omelet (2 Large Eggs, 2 ounces Ham, 1/4 cup shredded cheese) (380         Calories)

Afternoon Snack: String Cheese, Activia Yogurt (130 Calories)

Dinner:  Baked Chicken, 1/2 Sweet Potato and a side salad (Lettuce, carrots, croutons, cheese, sweet onion lite dressing) (385 Calories)

Evening Snack:  - Hardboiled egg, provolone cheese, peanut butter toast (300 Calories)

Well I will leave this post shorter, as later today I plan to give you a run down on my week 1 weight loss.  I am also thinking of sharing some thoughts on junk food addiction.  If you’re lucky maybe I’ll even give my thoughts on Madagascar 3 in case you haven’t seen it yet.  Tomorrow is my official rest day, so no workout and I probably won’t share my food, although I’ll know what I’ve eaten :)

For those of you losing it with me I hope things are going great and I’ll talk with you all later.
